Candidates
Today's VCP base setups, straight from the signals table.
How to use this page
- Check Market first. If the market is not in an uptrend, be selective or sit out.
- Read the candidate tables below. Each row is a stock whose setup passed its strategy's rules on that scan date.
- Click a symbol to open its chart and fundamentals, and confirm the pivot by eye before placing anything.
- Place a buy-stop just above the pivot. Never chase a name already more than 5% past it.
- Open 1-2 new positions a day, not five. Names that trigger the same day are correlated - five of them is one bet, not five.
The A+ column - four cleanliness checks this app can verify, then the two it cannot: F fresh (trigger 0-2 scans old), C no chase (prior day under 5%), V vehicle (ADR at least 4%), E earnings more than 7 days out, ? = option open interest and Fear & Greed, which are not in this database - check those two yourself. Green passes, red fails, grey means not checked (never treat grey as a pass). An amber count beside an industry, like Biotechnology (9, 6%), is how many of today's candidates share it - nine names in one industry is one bet, not nine - and what share of that industry's names are firing, counted against the names liquid enough to reach this board rather than every name in it, so you can tell a group moving as a whole from one where only these few are. A bare dash means we have no industry on file for that name; it is our gap, and those names are not a group. Click any column header to sort.
The Coil column is a different question from A+. A+ grades the trade - is this one worth taking today, in this vehicle, at this size. Coil grades the base - is the shape tight, in value, and near its pivot: 8 Stage-2 8/8, 5 full 5/5 score, T tight (RMV under 15), V in value (within 2 ATR of the 20-EMA), P near pivot (-2% to +5%), X not extended. A name can be a perfect coil and a bad trade, or a loose base you should still take - so read the two columns separately. A grey n/a means the tier could not be computed: it shipped 2026-06-19 and signals older than that carry no RMV or ext_atr. That is a missing reading, not a failed check.
The Would-be column is hindsight, and only that. It replays the row through the live exit rules from the close the scanner showed - 1.5-ATR close stop, 2.0-ATR intraday emergency, 10/20 EMA cross trail, 60-session cap - and reports the result in R (multiples of the money risked), so a $30 name and a $500 name are comparable. A setup reporting earnings within four sessions shows skip: the live rules decline it, so it has no outcome. open means fewer than 60 sessions have passed and the trade is unfinished, marked to the last close. These are share returns with no spread, no commission and no option decay - on 0.80-delta calls the same paths are worth materially less. And a good number here says the exit rules worked on that name, not that it was pickable in advance.
A list is not a ranking. Thirteen ways of ordering same-day candidates were tested and none beat picking at random. If more names qualify than you have room for, take the first ones and move on - there is no "best" to find here.
